I definitely don’t want Doctor Who to end in my lifetime, but I also want to see how it ends. Do you see my problem?

He knows we hate it when people skip nine.

Doctor Who intrigues me so much, like I want to know the entire plot and understand everything about it cause all I know is what I’ve put together from the gifs.
Why does no one get that 12 times regenerating means 13 Doctors??
Like, the first time he regenerated he became the second Doctor. So the 12th time he regenerates he’ll be the 13th Doctor
